“Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart.

Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens.”

Hi, I’m Amanda

Purpose Strategist | Positive Influencer | Life Coach

It is my passion to partner with authentic souls just like yours who want to elevate personally and live a purposeful life. This means a life of attention, intention, and choices that cause you to live on your terms and stay true to your genuine self.

As a world traveler, first-generation college graduate and homeowner, dog-mom, full-time digital nomad, fitness fanatic, and self-growth devotee, I have realized that it is indeed possible to shoot for the stars and have it all. The only limitations are within yourself and once you break through the challenges and fears, the forward progress for a life well-loved and well-lived is attainable.

Discovering my life purpose and its value on my mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being is why I am committed to sharing and supporting others to reveal their purpose. This did not come to me easily and to be quite honest, I still work at it every single day. It all starts with my deep roots. A native Texan, I grew up in a middle-class household filled with support and love. I do not ever remember going without the basics and even beyond those needs, yet I also did not have things or life handed to me. Pretty vanilla. My parents taught me the respected lesson that comfort was a privilege and achieved through hard work, consistency, and getting shit done yourself. Fast forward to being the pioneer in my immediate family for many firsts, including the first to obtain a college degree, purchase homes, and drive off the lot in my sports car, I have achieved (not so vanilla).  On the cuff of 30, I started a new chapter of life, beginning with a global travel trip across 35+ international cities in Asia, Europe, South America for one year. I traded in the traditional, humdrum cubical for a remote and meaningful office/life for good.

Why Coaching:
In 2017, when I left Texas for Malaysia, I was at a point in my life where I wanted more. Pushing beyond ‘the American dream’, I decided to pursue life out of my comfort and geological zone.  I signed up for a program called Remote Year which combined a global community of 65+ professionals and the desire to trade in the 9-5 cubical walls for exploration, experiences and co-working spaces.  The remote adventure allowed me to experience twelve cities in Asia, Europe, and South America over the course of one-year. It is through the ‘digital nomad’ lens of visiting new places and meeting new faces, that I had my breakthrough and oh-shit moment. During my first side trip to Bali, Indonesia in month one of my travels, I had a breakdown questioning where I was and quite frankly, who I was.  In a place of palm trees and paradise, I felt empty and unfulfilled. I spent a considerable amount of time reflecting and soul-searching. I discovered that at my happiest, I am surrounded by meaningful relationships, a routine, and positive environments and people. It is with this as my solid foundation, united with my ultimate desire for financial and life independence that coaching became a calling and I started training towards my new purposeful journey.

A bit more personal:
I am a lover of self-development learning via podcasts, e-mentorships, books, motivated entrepreneurs, and TedTalks. I find inspiration in being outdoors, fitness, college sports (Go Sooners) and Vietnamese coffee.

As a Christ and Cabernet afascionda, I look forward to Sundays to recalibrate and recharge. I have an endless love for animals, and I enjoy spending time with family, friends and even strangers over inspirational and challenging conversations.

A simple person, I still believe in the power of high-fives and hand-written thank you notes. I also believe ice cream should be eaten all year round.

A bit more business:

I am a Certified Purpose Clarity Coach and am credentialing as an Associated Certified Coach through the Institute for Life Coach Training (ILCT) and the International Coach Federation (ICF). ILCT’s training has given me the perfect mix of theoretical, experiential and field learning for application with my clients in a wide variety of avenues. ILCT was one of the first coach training programs to be accredited by the ICF, the only credential Board for the Life Coaching Profession.

In addition to my Life Coach experience, I have nearly ten years of real-world experience in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, and Business / Client Development, I’ve managed projects and teams on a local and international level. My degrees include a major in Journalism and Mass Communications (Advertising) and minor in Spanish from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner).

In addition to coaching, I have the privilege of working at Creative Noggin, a top-ranked full-service marketing, advertising, and branding agency, that happens to be  100% virtual and totally awesome.

I hope this gives you an idea of who I am – professionally and personally – & gives a glimpse of what brings me joy and purpose.
